Learn Ashtanga yoga in the way it is traditionally practiced at its source, in Mysore! Our 8-part beginners course is desinged to introduce you to the asanas of the Ashtanga Primary series step by step, becoming able to do a self-practice by the end of the course. Ashtanga Yoga is a dynamic and traditional yoga system founded by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in Mysore, at the beginning of the 20th century.
The course is taught be Shally Zucker, an international yoga teacher from Los Angeles, so her native tongue is Engilsh. Shally got introduced to Ashtanga Yoga 20 years ago in Los Angeles by Chuck Miller. Then she went on to study with Eddie Stern, Sharath Jois and Maty Ezraty.
She teaches and happy to share the powerful transformative yoga practice to anyone who wishes to learn and add it into their life journey, from her own 20 years experience as a student and teacher, with respect to students individual energy space and physical ability, in a positive fun light approach and open heart. Emphasising on correct foundation of asana alignment to deepen the connection to the core of the body. Her classes are open to all levels from the very beginners and advanced.
Venue: Atma Buda Yoga Studio (Margit krt 64!b, 2. em. 10). Times: 7 am to 9 am every Wednesday between July 11 and August 29. /If you would like to start a week later or skip one or two weeks because of the holidays, you can make it up at separate dates arranged with Shally./ Teacher: Shally Zucker.
